Knocking the Bottom Out

Drako the Barbarian is a wondering warrior of questionable values. He does mercenary work. This is a sequel to The Red Leaves Cut. Drako is unsure of himself. Is he meant for the peaceful life of a farmer, or is his warrior instincts telling him that this is what he is truly meant to be? In the meantime, the Scythian warlord, Andre thinks that Drako is out to kill him. 

Knocking the Bottom Out is a sword technique from Miyamoto Musashi’s “Book of Five Rings”. The knocking the bottom out technique, is to damage your opponent severely, especially by destroying its support. Despite looking defeated, your enemy can regroup and counter-attack. So it is sometimes important to, “Knock the bottom out” of your opponent, while he is still down; especially his resources, where he gets his support.
